Expect two exciting keynote addresses at ASIS International 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2015).

Twenty-three percent of Canadian cybersecurity teams never speak with their executive team about cybersecurity, but of those that did, 23 percent spoke just annually, and 24 percent spoke with the C-Suite semi-annually. Only 13 percent of IT Canadian security professionals spoke with executives quarterly, according to a new Ponemon Institute study with Websense, Inc.

“Managers care for the body of the organization. But leaders care for the spirit. And great leaders care about both. That is not my saying, but it is how I view leadership in any successful business,” says Tim Caddigan, Director, Corporate Security & Facilities for Altria Client Services.

More and more, security is focusing its value proposition on a service culture. While this topic has been raised by many CSOs in recent years, the volume and frequency of the subject reached a peak recently and deserves some attention.
