Experienced global security executive Lisa Oliveri has been named the new Director of Global Risk Management, Security and Operations at the National Democratic Institute (NDI). She will lead security and risk initiatives at the international nonprofit organization, according to her LinkedIn.

Before joining NDI, Oliveri was the Director of Global Safety and Security at Education Development Center (EDC), where she led and developed initiatives relating to security, risk assessment and management, crisis response and data analysis, among other responsibilities. Prior to that role, Oliveri held the Director of Security position at American Friends Service Committee. She has received multiple honors in the security field, including being named an IFSEC Global Top Influencer in Security and Fire 2021 and being featured in Security's Women in Security 2021 program.
