In mid September, thousands of security management practitioners will head to the . ASIS 2008 expects to bring together thousands of security, business and government professionals from more than 90 countries. This year’s exhibits will feature the latest security technology and innovations from 950 companies. 

   

All of the 175 educational sessions have been peer-reviewed and selected from a field of entries in a highly competitive submission process. These sessions, along with networking opportunities and the exhibits, promise to make ASIS 2008 this year’s most important show dedicated to security.

   

ASIS 2008 will feature keynote speakers Tom Brokaw, one of the most trusted and respected figures in broadcast journalism, and political consultants James Carville and Mary Matalin. Brokaw will give the keynote address on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Carville and Matalin will speak on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

   

On Thursday, Sept. 18, author James Bradley will speak at the closing luncheon. Bradley burst onto the national scene in 2000 with his book “Flags of Our Fathers,” about the six young men who raised the American flag on One of the men in the famous photograph of that event is Bradley’s father, John Bradley.
