Tom Gorup has been hired as the Vice President of Security Services at Edigo. With 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, Gorup will lead the company's security managed services and operations.

Prior to Edgio, Gorup held several executive-level security positions, including Vice President of Security Operations at Alert Logic (now Fortra) where he led Alert Logic's global Security Operations Centers. Gorup was also Co-Founder and Director of Security Operations for Rook Security where he oversaw its Managed Detection and Response services and developed proprietary security operations management technologies and processes for organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. 

Prior to his work in cybersecurity, Gorup also served in the United States Army with the prestigious 10th Mountain and 101st Airborne Divisions in Iraq and Afghanistan, respectively. During this time, Gorup earned several medals including the Purple Heart.
