Raquel Brown has taken over as Global Chief Security Officer for Trimont Real Estate Advisors, a provider of commercial real estate credit management, servicing and advisory services. Brown was previously the Managing Director of Cybersecurity at the firm, overseeing Trimont’s Cybersecurity efforts in the Americas.

Brown has more than 20 years of experience at Trimont with financial services technologies and security protocols. In addition to her promotion and expanded responsibilities, Brown joins Trimont’s Executive Operating Committee and will now report directly to CEO Brian Ward. In her new role, Brown is responsible for security strategy, security program oversight and security architecture development for the organization. This includes all security technologies and services domestically as well as internationally.

Brown participated in the creation and implementation of the company security plan and is the chairperson of the security team which oversees the adherence and governance of security at Trimont. She also interfaces with internal and external parties on security matters such as security audits and assessments.
