Over the years, a number of professional training books have been written to address the perceived requirements associated with the Executive Protection position, but this is the first publication that addresses the true job related task functions. Through research and survey results, the author has compiled a comprehensive view of the requirements all EP professionals should strive to achieve. Lastly, this text can be used by senior security executives to evaluate an EP Program’s effectiveness in meeting the organization’s needs.
This methodology is derived from his research of professional organizations with functional Executive Protection Programs. The methodology created from the study is referred to as P.R.O.T.E.C.T.© which represents seven assessment categories:
