Bryan Fort has been named CSO at Firmenich, the world's largest privately-owned company in the fragrance and flavor business.

Fort will report into David Shipman, Group Vice President, Corporate Compliance, and is based in Princeton, NJ. He will initially concentrate on the physical security of global sites, travel security and product security throughout the supply chain.

Previously, Fort was with McCormick where he served as the Director of Corporate Security, and where he focused on food security, the protection of production facilities, and setting overall security standards for the company. Prior to McCormick, he served as Head of Security with Noven Pharmaceuticals. Before joining the private sector, he worked in law enforcement, starting off as a police officer and working his way up to police chief.

He has a BSC in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University and a Masters in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, San Diego, CA.
