Richard Bird has been named the new Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Traceable, an API security and observability company. In this role, Bird will lead the organization's internal data security efforts and assist external API security efforts.

As a cybersecurity and IT operations industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Bird has a proven track record in protecting the interests of Software as a Service (SaaS) and financial services companies, as well as turning information security into a competitive advantage. 

Previously, Bird has been a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and he is also the former Global Head of Identity for JPMorgan Chase, among other C-level positions in cybersecurity.
