The Security Executive Council launched its research arm, the Security Leadership Research Institute (SLRI), which provides independent and actionable research on risk mitigation and security practices.

 

The SLRI will continue and expand upon work already in progress on topics such as board-level risk, regulations and compliance, awareness program elements, security program performance metrics, security titles and reporting and the cost of security. Research results will also be used to build a benchmarking resource.
