The Security Executive Council announced a new relationship with The Aspen Institute in conjunction with their upcoming Aspen Security Forum, to be held June 28-30, 2010 at the Aspen Institute Conference Center in Aspen, Col.
 
The Aspen Security Forum will bring together top-level government decision makers, industry leaders, academic policy experts, and top media figures to discuss the key homeland security-related issues of the day, including aviation security; maritime security; border security; mass transit security; critical infrastructure and "soft target" protection; terrorism preparedness; intelligence; counterterrorism strategy, and more.
 
Confirmed speakers to date include Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen; former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff; the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, Husain Haqqani; former 9/11 Commission member Richard Ben-Veniste; and New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
