Burgart Attains Certification

Fire Systems Design of Hurst, Tex., says Todd Burgart, vice president of marketing, has attained the certification of Senior Engineering Technologist in Fire Protection Engineering/Fire Alarm Systems. The certification is the highest level offered by National Institute for Certification in Engineering Tech-nologies. Burgart also became certified to Level I in the field of Fire Protection Engineering Technology/Special Hazards Suppression Systems.

Winsted Sales Rep

Minneapolis-based Winsted says that Wes Carr is the sales representative for Winsted products in Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Emerald Communications, Inc., an independent firm representing Winsted in the Southeast, hired Carr to fill the position of regional sales manager. In this new position Carr will represent Winsted to dealers within his territory, which he will manage from his office in Orlando, Florida.

Burkey Joins the DICE Team

Jim Burkey, former vp/general manager of ABM Data Systems, has joined the DICE team as director of sales. Burkey will be supervising all of DICE Corporation’s sales representatives from its Bay City, Mich., headquarters.
