Axis Communications announces the launch of the AXIS 2191 Audio Module for use with its network cameras. A combined network camera and audio unit gives users not only the ability to view and hear what's going on remotely, but also the capability to broadcast sound back out. This allows for two-way, real-time communication over the Internet or intranets via the Internet Explorer Web browser. Application benefits include increased remote monitoring capabilities. Monitoring using both audio and video will enable users to view, listen and speak to people entering sensitive areas. Enhanced Web content provides both live audio and video streams on a Web site for promotions or Web attraction purposes.
