• China's desire to reunify with Taiwan, potentially via forceful measures. 
• Russian influence operations engaging in the destabilization of gray zones across the globe. 
• The rise in stand-off fire devices, which provides state and non-state actors access to effective, affordable offensive abilities. 
• The intentional blockage of essential shipping paths, placing supply chains at risk. 
• An increase in nuclear blackmail.
