Consumer trust in artificial intelligence (AI) was analyzed in a recent report by dunhumby. According to the report, 20% of American consumers ‘mostly’ or ‘completely’ trust AI.

The report found that men (29%) are more likely to trust AI than women (14%).

The top five concerns respondents have about AI are 1) loss of jobs, 2) security and privacy, 3) loss of human touch, 4) technology 'in the wrong hands’ and 5) misinformation. Forty-six percent cite security as a grocery use case for AI.
