ANZ has announced Maria Milosavljevic has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), reporting to Group Executive Technology and Group Services, Gerard Florian.

Dr. Milosavljevic will join the company from the Australian Government where she is currently the inaugural Chief Data Integration Officer at the Department of Defence, building data and AI capabilities. Dr. Milosavljevic replaces Lynwen Connick, who will retire in October after six years as ANZ’s Chief Information Security Officer.

Previously, Dr. Milosavljevic was the CISO and Chief Data Officer at Services Australia, and the inaugural Government CISO at the New South Wales Government, where she established a new whole-of-government function responsible for cybersecurity. Dr. Milosavljevic will commence with ANZ on Aug. 28.

Congratulations!
