Kirk McClain has joined Accenture Federal Services (AFS) in the role of Chief Security Officer. McClain will lead the AFS Security & Intelligence Directorate, overseeing global delivery and support for the protection of the company’s facilities, assets and information, monitoring of corporate risk and compliance with security policies and requirements.     

McClain is a retired senior officer from the Central Intelligence Agency with more than 30 years of experience serving in security leadership roles both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining AFS, McClain served as the Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Corporate Security at Pacific Architects & Engineers (PAE) supporting a workforce of approximately 22,000 employees in more than 60 countries.

His background and expertise will play a key role in sustaining and further developing the security organization and priorities, says John Goodman, Chief Executive Officer, Accenture Federal Services. According to Goodman, McClain will work closely with leaders across the business to ensure the right strategies to assess and mitigate risk are in place to safeguard the company, people and assets, and provide leadership to help successfully navigate all threat environments.
