Boehringer Ingelheim, a global biopharmaceutical company, has around 180 sites internationally. The research and production firm, which develops pharmaceutical medicine and technologies for human and animal health, is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Securing its wide range of facilities presented a challenge due to the varied locations held by the firm. The company looked for a video management system (VMS) and prioritized cybersecurity, system expandability and reliability of operation, as well as ease of deployment.

Boehringer Ingelheim decided to standardize their hardware and software approach in the configuration and rollout of information technology (IT) systems with the Cayuga VMS from Qognify. Boehringer Ingelheim reduced deployment time for new CCTV instances with the system.
