Phillip Lenz has been named the Director of Public Safety at Westminster College, a liberal arts university in Western Pennsylvania.

Lenz will lead emergency response initiatives at Westminster College, as well as direct public safety officers and security training efforts, according to a university statement.

Lenz joins Westminster after a long military career, most recently serving as the Director of Emergency Services and Public Safety for the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence. He previously held roles as the Joint Operations Center Deputy Director for the NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, which monitored potential threats to NATO countries; Director of Operations for the Department of Defense (DoD)'s United States Disciplinary Barracks; and various military police positions.
