As part of reorganizing and updating safety functions at the University of Utah, Chief Safety Officer Marlon C. Lynch created a new position to direct Campus Security and to oversee public safety compliance and accreditation.
Congratulations to John "JT" Mendoza, one of our 2019 Most Influential People in Security awardees, who is retiring from federal government service after 22 years. He will be joining CGI as Director of Global Security, primarily responsible for establishing a global insider risk management program.
Omnitrans has announced that Jerome Rogers was named Director of Safety and Security. Rogers will immediately begin work on the agency response team handling the COVID-19 health crisis and will lead implementation of Omnitrans’ Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan, as well as its ongoing efforts to maintain the agency’s award-winning safety and security programs.
The Tennessee Titans have hired Green Bay (Wisc.) Chief of Police Jim Arts to be their next Director of Security. He will replace Steve Berk, who is retiring after 16 years with the organization.
