SIA opens Women in Security scholarship applications

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has opened applications for the 2022 SIA Women in Security Forum Scholarship, an initiative led by the SIA Women in Security Forum.

The 2022 program will offer multiple scholarships worth $10,000 each that SIA members and students can use toward professional development and education. SIA established the Women in Security Forum Scholarship program in 2020, aiming to further educational opportunities for women in the field.

Scholarship funds may be used toward:

Repayment of student loan debt
Registration for industry webinars, education and certification programs
Tuition for courses that will lead to completion of accredited trade, vocational or academic degree programs related to the security industry

Each applicant for the SIA Women in Security Forum Scholarship must be either an SIA student member or a member of the SIA Women in Security Forum and an employee of a SIA member company.

Applications for the 2022 SIA Women in Security Forum Scholarship must be submitted by Friday, July 1, and winners will be announced in August. Learn more about the program and apply here.
