Wendy Hans named President of RLPSA
Wendy Hans, Director of Fraud and Loss Control for AMC Theatres, has been named President of the Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA).
Hans will lead RLPSA in its content diversification efforts catering to loss prevention professionals in the restaurant industry.
As Director of Fraud and Loss Control, Hans collaborates with individuals across her organization to protect AMC from fraud losses. She oversees fraud detection, investigation and prevention for more than 600 theatres, e-commerce and the loyalty program. An expert in fraud risk management, Hans directs fraud data analytics, advises on fraud risk and potential mitigation, and administers the fraud risk assessment. In addition, Hans is Co-Chair of the inaugural DEI Council on the AMC Women’s Experience. She previously worked in accounting systems, audit, international accounting and theatre operations during her more than 30 years at AMC.
