School Security Officer Publishes Coloring Book to Teach about Bullying
Harry Bell is a security officer in Bridgeport, Conn. and author of the popular coloring book, “Color A Positive Thought,” a coloring book that is teaching kids about bullying and how to turn a negative situation into a positive one. He came up with the idea of a coloring book for students after he designed a similar one for his son with inspirational messages.
Bell received a grant under the Kid Safe Act to help distribute the children’s book in classes across Bridgeport, reported WTNH.com.
“Color a Positive Thought” is the first in a series. Bell has a second book coming out in September of 2015, reported WTNH.com.
It is also published in Spanish.
