Sandy Sandquist Joins Luminscent Inc.
Sandy Sandquist has joined Luminescent Inc., a national leader in forensic accounting involving complex fraud, non-compliance and disputes as well as business risk management, as Senior Director of Global Business Risk Strategies.
Sandquist has more than 30 years of corporate security and business risk mitigation experience. He recently retired from General Mills, having led Global Security there and at Pillsbury for 21 years. He is nationally renowned for his operational and thought leadership, implementing a holistic approach to managing enterprise risks in all areas of business. Sandquist previously spent six years in the telecom industry where he managed a 15 state region for Sprint Security and worked in technical security for GTE. His career in security began in the United States Air Force and continued as a police officer in San Angelo, Texas.
In 2009, Security Magazine recognized Sandquist as one of the "Most Influential People in Security.” In 2006, he was awarded the General Mills "Champions Award" for accomplishing the safe evacuation of all General Mills employees and their families in Beirut, Lebanon during the country’s military conflict with Israel.
