Two men have been charged with identity theft and conspiracy for their roles in a gas pump-skimming operation that may have victimized customers throughout Northern California.
The men are suspected of installing a skimming device on a gas pump at a7 -Eleven gas station. The device was set up to capture account numbers and PINs of the customers who used the pump.
