Control Superiority AXCESS International Inc., Dallas, announced one of its legacy distributors, Automatic Gate Equipment & Supply Corp., has passed its 5th year and 50th system installation of Active RFID for gate access control. Based on active radio frequency identification technology, the system uses an underground road loop antenna to automatically activates a vehicle tag located on the windshield as the vehicle approaches the gate.

Perceptrak to be Offered

by Top Integrator Cernium Inc., St. Louis, announced that it is partnering with top security systems integrator RFI Communications & Security Systems to market Cernium’s intelligent video management system.

RFI has signed an agreement with the company to sell and distribute its Perceptrak system, which analyzes images from video surveillance feeds and alerts security personnel to behaviors that are suspicious or out of the ordinary.

GVI Awarded $1.8 Million Contract

GVI Security Solutions Inc., Carrollton, Texas, announced that it has been awarded a $1.8 million dollar contract by a leading security systems integrator to provide customized surveillance equipment solutions for a major regional electronics retailer. The award, which supports the retailer’s expansion plans, features custom versions of the company’s digital video surveillance solutions.

FiberOptic.com has New HQ

FiberOptic.com has announced the opening of the company’s new headquarters in Sellersville, Pa. The 3,500-sq. foot facility, located at 510 North Main St., is conveniently located to major roadways including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Rt. 309, and I-78. According to company president Christopher I. LaBonge, the new headquarters has ample warehouse space to expand product offerings and customer service, as well as a good office environment to increase their number of employees.

Delta to Secure Presidential Library and Museum

Delta Scientific, Valencia, Calif., announced that its decorative bollards are being used to protect the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, located on a 90-acre site on the West Campus of Texas A&M University. The bollards were designed to protect facilities from those not authorized to enter or others driving errant vehicles. “We are privileged to help protect such an important and historic national treasure trove as that found at the George Bush Presidential Library,” said Scott Altizer, the company’s high security systems applications engineer.
