Success at Securing New Ground

Over 200 security industry executives and investors converged in New York City last fall for the 9th Annual Securing New Ground Conference. The conference brought high-level industry leaders together with investors to cultivate new business relationships. Presentations focused on making money in the security industry, investor perspectives, homeland security, market trends, biometrics moving into the mainstream, new technologies, and other areas that will create new sources of revenue going forward.

The conference’s hallmark session, View from the Top, included observations by some of the industry’s top executives. Panelists from this session represented a significant percentage of the estimated $120 billion dollar global security market, thus their views were considered exceptionally insightful.

Bill Zalud, Security magazine’s editor, was a presenter at SNG.
