Jackie Bean has been named the Executive Director of SDM and Security Magazines. She has been with SDM and Security Magazines for 18 years in sales roles and as Associate Publisher. In her new capacity as Executive Director, she will maintain her current relationships and sales territory.
“It has been a pleasure working in the security industry for most of my professional career,” Bean said. “I’ve enjoyed maintaining longstanding relationships with clients and working collaboratively to help amplify their messaging and grow their businesses. I’ve been fortunate to learn from great mentors and colleagues and I’m excited to bring my industry knowledge and experience with me as I take on the role of executive director for SDM Magazine and Security Magazine. I look forward to leading our team to continue delivering trusted insights and practical solutions that inform and empower security professionals. Bean is a native of the Philadelphia area and graduated from Albright College in Reading, PA. She and her husband are parents to a 10-year-old daughter and 7-year old twin boys. When not driving her kids to activities, Bean is a volunteer in her children’s school and enjoys baking, gardening and is an avid reader.
