Ray Whitworth has been appointed the Vice President of Operations and Security for Major League Soccer.
Whitworth has more than 30 years’ experience in law enforcement, and he most recently served as Head of Team and Corporate Security for the English Football Association (The FA), according to Tribal Football.
Transitioning from the public sector, including law enforcement and military professions, to the private sector security industry can be a difficult task, but Time Warner Cable is sponsoring an event and networking luncheon at the ASIS New York City Conference and Expo to guide the change.
