Campus safety and law enforcement leader Hampton Cantrell has been named the new Chief of Campus Security and Parking Services at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).

Cybersecurity leader Jeffrey Aguilar has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the County of Los Angeles.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) hosted a Change of Command Ceremony to formally instate Donald R. Kusser, formerly Assistant Port Director, Tactical Operations, of the LA/Long Beach Seaport, as Port Director for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). 

More than 400 elementary school campuses will receive a minimum of two new campus aides through the new $4.2 million program.

Although grant money is tight this year, the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are pulling in some of the most funding.
