RS2 Technologies Conference This Month; Security’s McCourt Keynotes at Lunch
The 2010 RS2 Technologies Dealer Conference is Apr. 20-23 in
the New Orleans Marriott Renaissance Arts Hotel. End users will gain from this
event, too.
This year’s Dealer Conference will include the introduction
of several new RS2 selling tools, including new training videos, application
case histories and other new RS2 sales presentation materials, product training
from ASSA ABLOY, Schlage, and Mercury Security, as well as presentations on new
RS2 products.

The RS2 conference has a dedicated following. Says Matt
Donnell, vice president of Total Protection Systems, “Having been one of the
original RS2 dealers, I benefit from the exposure to all my existing and new
fellow RS2 dealers.
“Together we work to insure that open architecture
specifications are being written by A&Es. We can compare project type to
have additional references from a relevant end user to help with closing a

when competing with nationwide security companies who leverage their size to
close deals.”
Among take-home specifics, Donnell comments, “Specifically
speaking of RS2, what I took home from the dealer conference was excitement.
Excitement at what is coming, how successful fellow dealers are also doing and
being able to sit down one on one with the people that make up the company.
“It’s the independence that is the value. It’s being able to
hear things directly from the “horse’s month”. Value is also achieved in mutual
success, which is easier to see when you are working directly with the OEM and
not having to look through layer of separation,” adds Connell.
Mark McCourt, group publisher, BNP Media, is Luncheon
Keynote Presenter.
He will discuss the state of the security market in this
“New Economy.” Mark is Group Publisher of BNP Media’s Security Media Group,
including Security Magazine and SDM Magazine.
Mark is a publishing and security industry veteran and a
successful entrepreneur in the media industry, having started and owned several
companies and led divisions of large media companies.
For the 2010 RS2 Dealer Conference, PS2 picked the beautiful
New Orleans Marriott Renaissance Arts Hotel in downtown New Orleans. The hotel
is located in the historic Warehouse District, with more than 20 restaurants
within a 5-block area, and is just minutes from the French Quarter.
