Hercilio Luz International Airport in Floripa, Brazil is updating its security measures. The airport recently expanded to accommodate more passengers and required additional security to manage the new capacity.

The airport will utilize Genetec's platform to manage cameras and doors within boarding, arrivals and customs. The platform will also send alerts for safety concerns such as unaccompanied luggage. 

Floripa has put in place a new process to issue employee and contractor credentials. They've also installed license plate recognition to manage parking lots. The features help insure the airport remains in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
