Ian Wallace has joined the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)'s Office of Strategy, Policy & Plans as the new Senior Advisor for Strategy.

Wallace brings over 25 years of defense and cybersecurity experience to the role, most recently serving as Senior Advisor at the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Cyberspace & Digital Policy, according to LinkedIn.

Wallace's security career started in the U.K. Ministry of Defence, where he held various roles from Desk Officer to Assistant Private Secretary; Assistant Director, Defence Resources and Plans; and Deputy Director, Directorate of Capability, Resource & Scrutiny. He served as Counsellor, Defence Policy & Nuclear at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. and held multiple fellowships in cybersecurity and digital leadership in the D.C. area.
