Cory Simpson named EVP at Resolute Strategic Services

National security and technology expert Cory Simpson has been named an Executive Vice President at Resolute Strategic Services. The former Senior Director at the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission will help lead the organization with his background in global operations and managing cyber threats.
Most recently, Simpson advised clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies as Managing Director, Cybersecurity and Privacy for Ankura. As a Senior Director and Lead for the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission, Simpson helped develop the strategy and policy recommendations for Congress on how to better protect the U.S. from cyberattacks. He also spent years serving as a general counsel and national security law advisor in the special operations community and senior leadership of the Department of Defense.
Prior to that, Simpson was a federal prosecutor and served as the senior prosecutor for the United States Army in Europe. He also has years of military experience, having received the Bronze Star and Defense Meritorious Service Medal twice, and he continues to serve today as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve.
