The California light rail yard in San Jose saw 10 dead, including the suspected gunman, who opened fire on co-workers. According to the Gun Violence Archive, there has been 232 mass shootings thus far this year.

The mass shooting at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Facility in San Jose earlier this week is considered to be a workplace violence incident, according to police. The shooting took place early in the morning around 6:30 a.m. when employee Sam Cassidy opened fire at the facility.
