Texas Substitute Teacher Arrested After Assaulting Student
A substitute teacher in Lehman High School in Kyle, Texas was fired and arrested after a video resurfaced of her assaulting a student.
In a Facebook post, the high school Principal, Karen Zuniga, said, "Under no circumstance is that behavior tolerated at Lehman High School or in Hays CISD. Additionally, the former employee was arrested by the Hays County Sheriff's Office and faces potential criminal charges. Her actions will also be reported to the Texas Education Agency."
The assault was recorded by many students and has been shared through social media. According to a news report, many students also sought help while the attack was occurring.
