Demand for Travel Security Advice Increases 800%
The demand for travel security advice has grown by nearly 30 percent in the last two years and increased by 800 percent in the last decade.
A report from International SOS and Control Risks shows that on average, more than 100 business travelers per day have been given security advice in the past year.
International SOS and Control Risks are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their strategic alliance, which has seen the companies handle more than 5.3 million pre-travel advisories and more than 100,000 situation development/crisis alerts.
David Johnson, CEO of security services at International SOS, said: “Globalization and an increasing emphasis on duty of care has brought the necessity of robust security risk management programs to the forefront of the corporate agenda, and business leaders have become increasingly aware that this is an essential aspect of business resilience.”
