Symmetry Retrofit Solution for
Competitor End-of-Life Scenarios
Symmetry Retrofit (SR) Controllers are designed for new installations, as well as for customers who are facing a security system limitation or end-of-life scenario with a competitor’s product. AMAG’s SR Controllers enable you to upgrade your aging or discontinued security management system easily and affordably, and protect your current infrastructure investment by reusing existing cards, readers and wiring. The SR Controllers use a pluggable backplane architecture efficiently designed into a compact enclosure. The SR Controllers support up to 16 card readers and easily expands using plug-in door controller and I/O modules, allowing fast, cost-effective installations or retrofits for any size system. Each SR Controller has onboard memory for 200,000 card holders, but there is no limit to the number of card holders a Symmetry Security Management System can support.

Bosch Security Systems
Bosch Security Systems, Inc. introduces the Flexidome HD VR family of cameras with compact dome housings. The cameras are available with a choice of imaging modules: 720p60 for superior low-light performance, 1080p for full HD resolution, and 1080p HDR. All three modules make use of the same Flexidome design. In addition, the cameras feature Content-Based Imaging Technology (CBIT), which provides intelligent dynamic image optimization. The CBIT-enabled cameras include two special modes: intelligent Auto Exposure (iAE), which results in optimal details for objects of interest, and intelligent dynamic noise reduction (iDNR) that lowers bandwidth requirements by up to 30 percent compared to other cameras.

PTZ Dome Network Camera with HDTV Performance
The P5414-E PTZ Dome Network Camera is the first in a new line of uniquely designed outdoor-ready pan/tilt/zoom domes with “direct drive” technology meant for wall-mounting. The camera is ideal for use in city and perimeter surveillance applications, parking garages, campuses and schoolyards, and outside of retail and medical buildings. The intelligent direct drive pan/tilt system facilitates easy wall-mount installation and supports mechanical PTZ endurance by limiting the amount of moving parts. The camera is directly attached to the drive shaft of two motors – one for panning and another for tilting the camera. Other innovations include a built-in wall bracket that eliminates the need to purchase a separate mounting accessory, which makes installation quicker and easier.

Ultra Low Profile MicroDome™ Camera
MicroDome™ultra low profile multi-megapixel cameras are designed for applications where both high-resolution and a small footprint are required. The cameras are available in resolutions of 1.3-megapixels (MP), 1080p, 3MP and 5MP, with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) up to 100dB at full resolution available at resolutions of 1080p and 3MP. Indoor models with an innovative in-ceiling mount are being released first, and will soon be followed by indoor/outdoor surface mount models. The in-ceiling configurations have three spring arms at the top of the camera that easily fit through the small installation hole and then expand to hold the camera into place. The installer only needs to slide the camera through the hole and secure the magnetized mounting ring with a single screw. By combining long and short exposures in the same field-of-view, WDR maximizes the amount of detail in both bright and dark areas of a scene.

CCTV Components and Edge Devices
IQinVision Alliance-pro and 7-Series cameras are designed as a platform for the future. Such edge devices empower customers to more easily and cost-effectively build onto their security systems as technology continues to advance. These powerful WDR cameras are capable of advanced functionality on the edge – on-camera analytics, on-camera storage, recording directly to NAS, and integration with software such as exacqVision Edge, a video management system that records directly to the on-camera storage. DTS allows for a more scalable, robust and cost effective video recording system. With DTS, the server resides in the camera. Storage can also be located on the camera – all while consuming less than 8W power.
