A side control bar interface enables immediate access to every function while minimizing distraction from the live view screen. The setup menu, with its 3-D icons, aims to make the unit the stylish and intuitive. The GS is a multi-channel hybrid DVR with Digital Deterrent and CIF real-time recording that coordinates with date/time, calendar, event, motion/museum and text-in search. The GS includes Mac and PC compatibility software and can send text message alerts of system activity and status. This unit is remote upgradeable and available in 24 and 32 channels with hard drive storage capacity ranging from 500 GB to 8 TB. The unit can be remotely viewed on iPhone, Blackberry or Android, with a free iPhone app available from iTunes.
