ASIS International Announces 2011 Accolades Awards

August 29, 2011

ASIS International has selected its 2011 ASIS Accolades winners. The awards competition recognizes the security industry’s most innovative new products, services, and/or solutions.

The winners will be recognized at the ASIS International 57th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2011), to be held Sept. 19-21 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated more than 70 entries before selecting the top 10 winners. ASIS Accolades are solutions oriented, not product specific.

The winners (with booth numbers) are:

Axis Communications, Booth #2137

Xtralis, Booth #2267
OSID
OSID provides reliable, cost-effective smoke detection for large, open spaces to overcome inherent weaknesses to traditional beam detectors. The use of dual-light frequencies enables discrimination between real smoke and other objects, drastically reducing false alarms.

Accolades winners will be recognized with an awards presentation at the networking luncheon attended by more than 3,000 people on Monday, Sept. 19.  All entries will also be profiled in the Accolades onsite guide, searchable through the onsite product locator and will receive virtually year-round online exposure on the ASIS website.
