IEEE announced it has issued a collection of feature articles on Smart Grid, in its March 2010 Special Issue: Smart Grid... Putting it All Together, which is now available for download. In addition, the association is hosting several upcoming conferences that focus on Smart Grid or include insightful educational sessions presented by Smart Grid experts.

IEEE has also issued a Call For Papers for SmartGridComm, the first IEEE International Conference on Smart Grid Communications. The paper submission deadline is May 1, 2010 and prospective authors are invited to submit original contributions at: http://www.ieee-smartgridcomm.org/cfp.html.
