The Olympic Games can attract trouble and that’s why the Games also attracts plenty of security attention. Beijing is no exception. For example, Woburn, Mass.-based L-3 Communications’ Security and Detection Systems subsidiary will supply Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) with its MVTHR multi-view tomography explosives detection systems. L-3 will initially design, install and maintain 22 MVT-HR systems, as well as provide 81 operator workstations for the BCIA Terminal 3 hold-baggage screening system. BCIA is the host airport for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
