HID Promotes Sacks

HID Corp., Irvine, Calif., announced that Holly Sacks has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Marketing. The promotion increases Sacks’ role to include the company’s product management functions including product planning, life cycle management, program management, and technology partner integration.

Zivney to Join SIA Board

Rob Zivney, Marketing Vice President of Hirsch Electronics, Santa Ana, Calif., has been selected to the Security Industry Association (SIA)’s Board of Directors. The board of Directors is made up of industry professionals with a broad range of electronic security interests and is appointed by a special selection committee. “Substantial growth in the electronics security industry makes the demand for recognized standards and better education a priority if we are to smooth the way for cross-industry applications,” said Zivney. “SIA is taking a lead in these areas, and I look forward to contributing to that leadership as a member of its board.”
