From Tyco Fire & Security Video Systems, there are hardware and software updates for its Intellex Digital Video Management System that, among other enhancements, allow users the option to add synchronized audio and multiple channels of text to recorded video. In two platforms: DV8000 eight-camera system makes video management affordable for mid-range installations, and full-featured DV16000 for recording of up to 16 cameras, along with a new 1.9 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor and 256MB RAM.
