White House security messages leaked through Signal

An Atlantic article published by Jeffery Goldberg on March 24, 2025 alleges that Goldberg was accidentally included in a Signal group chat alongside U.S. national security officers detailing classified security information.

Goldberg alleges that following a message request from national security advisor Michael Waltz, national security officers sent messages in regards to U.S. plans to attack Houthi targets within Yemen.

According to Goldberg, there were 18 participants including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance and Michael Waltz.
