One Million for Axis

One reason behind Axis’ success is the strong channel partnerships, with distribution partners and thousands of system integrators addressing the specific needs of vertical and local markets. The sales model gives Axis tremendous reach into the market, but also means that it is really hard to track where unit number 1,000,000 was sold. It might have been installed in a bank in Japan, in a train station in Australia, in a school in Brazil, in a harbor in Alaska, in a city centre in Italy, or retail store in Texas – Axis today is everywhere around the globe.

Axis Communications announced a company milestone – the delivery of one million network cameras since the first camera was launched 11 years ago. Since 1996, when Axis laucnhed the first network camera, the company has introduced a large number of network cameras and currently has the market’s broadest product portfolio.
