Ioimage said at ASIS that it has signed a distribution agreement with Supercircuits, a leading manufacturer and distributor of video and audio surveillance equipment with more than 100,000 customers in North America.

Through the agreement, Supercircuits will offer ioimage’s off-the-shelf intelligent video encoders and IP cameras with built-in video analytics to its diverse law enforcement, government and enterprise security customer base. Supercircuits is based in Austin, Texas, with an international customer base that includes the United States Armed Forces, more than 6,500 police departments, 700 federal agencies, and thousands of small to medium businesses and security systems integrators.

“Through our partnership with ioimage, Supercircuits is able to offer this industry changing technology to our customers,” said Mark Thompson, chief executive officer of Supercircuits. “Adding ioimage’s high performance yet easy to install intelligent video appliances to our broad portfolio of IP video surveillance solutions is another example of how Supercircuits continues to deliver high quality products that enhance value for our customers at industry leading price points.”

ioimage’s line of intelligent video appliances includes video encoders and IP cameras that enable installers to deploy easy-to-use plug-and-play video analytics with minimal effort. ioimage’s off-the-shelf solutions make them ideal for retrofitting existing installations and installing new systems.

Initially designed for high-risk security applications, such as nuclear power facilities and the military, ioimage has brought its video analytics appliances to the mainstream market with systems that have been deployed by car dealerships, manufacturing facilities, utilities and retail operations.

“The addition of Supercircuits as a distribution partner represents our lasting commitment to make video analytics available to a wider audience,” said Garry Clark, ioimage’s President of the Americas. ”Together with Supercircuits we offer a unique value proposition of off-the shelf, easy-to-install, easy to obtain intelligent video appliances to a broader market.”
