Mickey Middaugh
Mickey Paul Middaugh is a retired U.S. Air Force Security Forces Senior Master Sergeant with 24 years of active-duty experience in force protection, behavioral-based threat recognition, crisis leadership, and high-consequence decision-making. During his career, he led security organizations of more than 1,200 personnel and supported the protection of strategic national assets across air, space, missile defense, and critical defense environments. He is the founder of Grey Matter Ops™ and creator of the Red Dot Mindset™ podcast and blog, where he translates threat recognition and behavioral awareness frameworks into practical preparedness for individuals, teams, and organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for Texas for Heroes.
