Resources such as seminars, online courses, posters, a booklet and a pocket card are all aimed to help inform people on what to do in the event of an active shooter incident.
In light of shooting incidents in stores, shopping centers, schools and other crowded locations, there has been heightened attention to prevent and respond here in the U.S. and abroad.
Providing individuals with instruction and options they need should such a situation occur is the goal of a new one-hour program created by Penn State's Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), along with University Police and Penn State's Risk Management Office.
