Panama's Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo adopts hotel security technology

With a goal to provide guests with peace of mind and convenience, Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in Panama has recently enhanced security capabilities.
Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo’s architecture firm identified security solutions capable of addressing the property’s specific needs and selected ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to implement advanced security access technologies. The hotel adopted VingCard Signature RFID, compatible with Mobile Access, which provides guests with the option to use personal devices as secure digital room keys. This capability allows guests to skip waiting in line at the front desk during arrival.
Both VingCard Signature RFID and Mobile Access are supported at the property by the Visionline access management system which allows hotel staff to manage security access operations and proactively monitor for any potential security threats requiring immediate attention, such as instantly cancel keycards suspected of being stolen or used inappropriately. The hotel also implemented VingCard Sentinel II safes, an in-room electronic safe solution, which enhances property security including the safeguarding of guest valuable belongings.
