Every five years, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) assesses the emergency communications capabilities and needs of federal, state, local, tribal and territorial governments, as required by the Homeland Security Act of 2002.

Critical to achieving this goal, CISA is asking public safety organizations to complete the SAFECOM Nationwide Survey (SNS) by July 21, 2023.

The results of the survey will help government officials and emergency responders better understand needs so they can make data-driven funding, policy and programmatic decisions to strengthen emergency communications capabilities.
